Hello. I'm Rafael Swiniarski, born 1979 in Chorzów, Poland. When I was 10 years old my family and I moved to Germany where I studied and still live.
From a very early age I had a great interest in design which led me to study at KISD in Cologne. I also gathered valuable experience at Parsons in New York and SCDI in Taipei.
Since 2009 I have been working for xailabs in Berlin as head of their User Interface Design.
For more details please download my CV right here.

Design is a broad topic, we are confronted with design constantly in our daily lives. During on-the-job-training, study and work experience I discovered all the aspects of design and chose to focus on what interests me most: Conceptual Design, Service Design and Interface Design.
Being part of a team, researching, building a synergy of ideas together, creating a concept and accompanying the project till its final steps is very exciting for me. It is what I want to continue doing.
My Portfolio covers projects and favourite areas of design I studied and contains an overview of other areas and projects I was involved in. Due to a confidentiality agreement, there is only a short description of my position and some projects I did as an employee; Download my Portfolio here.
If you're interested in more; go to next page for more insight into a selection of projects from the Portfolio as well some additional projects.
